The Marsh

went for a awesome ride yesterday on the "RoadRat" about 25 mile across the marsh.....Sandgate to Hythe then on to Dymchurch picking up the new prom (was going to New Romney but there is construction work on the new bit of seafront at Dymchurch) the across the marsh (deep in Dr Syn country) towards Burmarsh then off down Tame Lane towards Botolphs Bridge and back round.

Brrrr Winter Scoot

Hi all had a very enjoyable morning ride along the military canal it was super cold around ~2 and gloopy but if wrapped up its all good .....had a well deserved latte and bicky @ The Hub in Sandgate then home.to thaw out in a hot bath.

Crab and Winkle Way

Had a great ride early Friday morn from Canters to Whitstable very muddy and wet but enjoyable super dry with my Polaris Jacket on (Keith at Herberts Cycles in Whitstable has a new range of Polaris Winter Clothing in, great prices and a great range check it out @ www.herbertscycles.co.uk) and super warm with my Dakine base layer........

 How ever on my return it was pitch black and super cold and at one point it was just me the darkness,  the moon and a F**king owl that seemed to be following me for 3-4 miles! ........don't look behind you!......that is when you need a very good light so a little nod to Moon Lights (ironic isn't it!)......my xp300 was awesome!

Super Cold Scoot

Went out on Tues last for around 2 hours......very cold and wet but fun usual route military canal to the bottom of the single track.....noticed that work has started near Botolphs Bridge on upgrading the bridle way from there to Aldington Bridge (I think!)........this is cool cause in the winter that section is impassible unless you have a 4w dr vehicle or a horse!

Wet and Windy

Hi all went out for a scoot this morning and it was absolutely hissing down!.......
Easy trail mainly bridleway but rivers of water and mud underfoot!
Around 12 miles but was as wet as an otter's pocket!
